White Doves Release
The symbol of new life that W. A. Truelove & Son
Ltd can provide in memory of your loved one.
The white dove has been associated with mankind throughout
history. The white dove has always been a symbol of peace.
In the scriptures, doves are more numerous than all other
species. In Luke "The heavens were opened and He saw the spirit of God
descending like a dove and alighting upon him".
As a peace symbol it recalls the ark of Noah Genesis 8 V
10-11.
"He waited another seven days, and again he sent out
the dove from the ark; and the dove came back to him in the evening, and
there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf; so Noah knew that the
water had subsided from the earth".
As a symbol of the Holy Spirit, it recalls the release of
the Holy Spirit to ascend into heaven, so that life may begin again.
